Birds Eye View was founded as a short film event in 2002, registered as a charity in 2004, launched the UK’s first major women’s film festival in 2005, and are now developing year-round activity with the First Weekenders Club, BEV Labs, touring programme and online community.

They have one paid position, a voluntary position and an internship up for grabs.

Marketing and Sponsorship Managers (paid, freelance – full/part-time)

We are currently recruiting two freelancers to work on marketing for our 2010 film festival, and also sponsorship for our 2011 festival. Please download job description from the right hand column for more information and how to apply. Deadline Monday October 5th.

Programme researchers (voluntary)

We are currently seeking volunteers to help with programming research for our 2010 festival. Candidates need to be available within office hours, at least three days per week, for at least four weeks. If interested please email explaining your interest and any relevant experience, and attaching your CV.

Birds Eye View 2009 Internship Programme

Birds Eye View operates a successful voluntary intern programme, with many interns gaining the experience they need to move on to paid work in various aspects of the film sector.

We are looking for volunteers able to work full or part-time, but at least three days per week, in our Highbury office, London, within working hours (9.30am – 6.30pm). Minimum commitment 4 weeks.
