Event: Welsh Women’s Aid Training Courses

The following training events organised by Welsh Women’ Aid are open to Women’s Aid groups and outside organisations, contact Rhian Jones, rhianjones@welshwomensaid.org.uk, for more information or to book a place on one of the courses, Women’s Aid members can use the WWA website.

Induction to Welsh Women’s Aid and Domestic Abuse Awareness
This course is aimes at anyone who is new to Womens Aid and the field of Domestic Abuse and will:

  • cover the services that WWA provide
  • define Domestic Abuse and the myths and stereotypes that surround it
  • look at the effects of Domestic Abuse on women and children

Feminism Workshop
An ideal opportunity to share ideas about Feminism in the 21st Century this workshop will look at:

  • what feminism means to women today
  • how women’s roles have changed
  • the history of the feminist movement
  • how this relates to the work of Women’s Aid groups

28th January – LLandudno
5th Feb – Rhayader
10th Feb – Swansea
